In dentistry, many studies are still needed to clarify the interactions that the SARS-CoV-2 virus has on periodontal conditions. This work compiled various aspects of interaction between Covid-19 and other systemic conditions, in addition to highlighting the main problems affecting epidemiology in Brazil and other countries. She is an assistant professor at the University of Pernambuco (UPE) and a public health professional in Recife, working in the Coordination of the Multiprofessional Residency Program in Public Health. He is currently an adjunct professor of the Dentistry Course at Centro Universitário Tabosa de Almeida – ASCES/UNITA, Adjunct Professor of the undergraduate course in Dentistry at the University of Pernambuco (UPE), Campus Arcoverde (PE), Guest Professor at the Brazilian Association of Dentistry-ABO (Imperatriz – MA), professor of the Specialization Course in Implantology and improvement in Periodontics at ICOM/FAIPE.
