Resumo
O estudo tem como escopo discorrer sobre a sustentabilidade ambiental frente a necessidade de conscientização no campo da ética na região da Amazônia Ocidental, mais precisamente, no estado do Acre. Para isso, buscou-se, por meio do método hipotético-dedutivo, levantar conceitos ligados ao meio ambiente e sobre a sustentabilidade, os quais possibilitaram esclarecer sobre a necessária formação valorativa no campo da ética ambiental e sua ligação com a regulação ambiental na Constituição Federal. Para tanto, utilizou a documentação indireta, através da pesquisa bibliográfica, além de sites especializados. Com o aprofundamento teórico acerca do tema, foi possível ampliar a assimilação da interação entre o homem, o meio ambiente, a sustentabilidade e a ética. Com isso, o resultado obtido, por meio da pesquisa, apresentou a necessidade de harmonização entre o comando constitucional sobre meio ambiente e a sustentabilidade, bem como a inserção do comportamento ético. Diante dos fatos apresentados, o Estado do Acre mostrou aptidão em legislar sobre conteúdo ambiental de maneira sustentável e eticamente consciente, com a edição da Lei 1.235, de 09 de julho de 1997, que regula o acesso aos recursos genéticos encontrados na natureza, além do fomento ao meio ambiente sustentável.

Abstract
The scope of the study is to discuss environmental sustainability in view of the need for awareness in the field of ethics in the Western Amazon region, more precisely, in the state of Acre. For this, we sought, through the hypothetical-deductive method, to raise concepts related to the environment and sustainability, which made it possible to clarify the necessary value training in the field of environmental ethics and its connection with environmental regulation in the Federal Constitution. For that, it used indirect documentation, through bibliographical research, in addition to specialized sites. With the theoretical deepening on the theme, it was possible to expand the assimilation of the interaction between man, the environment, sustainability and ethics. With this, the result obtained, through the research, presented the need for harmonization between the constitutional command on the environment and sustainability, as well as the insertion of ethical behavior. In view of the facts presented, the State of Acre showed aptitude in legislating on environmental content in a sustainable and ethically conscious manner, with the enactment of Law 1,235, of July 9, 1997, which regulates access to genetic resources found in nature, in addition to promotion of a sustainable environment.
